Pura Vida and Welcome to the 25th ISoP Global Meeting 2026!

Dear Colleagues,

The ISoP Executive and Local Organizing Committees warmly welcome attendees to the 25th ISoP Global Meeting in San José, Costa Rica, taking place 22–25 September 2026 (ISoP 2026).

This 25th edition marks a key milestone as the Annual Meeting becomes the ISoP Global Meeting driven by strong growth in membership and regional events. This expansion strengthens ISoP’s global influence and underscores the community’s active engagement in pharmacovigilance worldwide.

The conference will offer an extensive programme including four pre‑conference courses, plenary sessions, and multiple parallel sessions addressing key pharmacovigilance themes such as safety in special populations, digital transformation and AI, evidence generation, risk management, regulatory science, and ethics. For the first time, ISoP members have suggested workshop and sessions, and this will raise new ideas for discussion.

A distinguished panel of international experts from regulatory authorities, academia, industry, clinical practice and patient organisations will share cutting‑edge knowledge and real‑world experience on medication errors, medical devices, vaccines and public health, wider pharmacovigilance horizons, regional advances, and both patient and professional development.

Together with the ISoP LATAM chapter and in synergy with the WHO Programme for International Drug Monitoring meeting that will follow in San José, ISoP 2026 will be a unique platform to co‑create “ecosystems of trust” that strengthen pharmacovigilance for a healthier world.
